One of Derbys latest Japanese additions, MoonSha delivers an authentic flavour of the east using traditional techniques and ingredients in a thoroughly modern setting. A dramatic Teppanyaki bar, great sushi and sashimi as well as the usual noodle and ramen dishes. The talented chefs create a blend of best sushi combinations from around the world.

In its first year, MoonSha has won the Best Newcomer in the Derbyshire Food and Drink Awards and has been shortlisted for Best International Restaurant. With smiling and talented staff, wonderful food and a stunning setting, it has certainly assembled all the ingredients.

MoonSha is open for business

MoonSha Bar and Restaurant, Derbys first Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant, is open for business. More than 150 high profile guests from across the area attended the official opening, which was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the Mayor of Derby, Councillor Sean Marshall.
